This website is a showcase of my work which encompasses my academic and professional career. I have been involved in the field of communication design professionally for the past ten years. My interest began with my grandfather who was a commercial artist in the film industry. As a child drawing and painting came naturally, and as these skills advanced into high school I began focusing my efforts into visual communications.
I had several internships, while attending Pratt Institute and Farmingdale State University to apply and enhance my education. At N2K Encoded Music and musicboulevard.com, I experienced designing for a broad market base through web and print media. I continued as an understudy at Council Travel where I built brand campaign strategies. Next, I coordinated prepress production on packaging for companies such as L’Oreal, Crest, Bath and BodyWorks, and Elizabeth Arden at Printex Packaging.
During the last five years I’ve held two lead design positions within the mortgage industry while continuing to freelance on the side, and in 2007 decided to freelance fulltime. I am currently enrolled in the Masters Program for Design Management at Pratt Institute. Please feel free to take a look at my resume for more background information.
Whether I am commissioned for artistic or corporate material there is a personal standard in my work that combines aesthetics, simplicity, and attention. Aside from design, I am an accomplished musician with several recordings under my belt; I am also an excellent ping-pong player. I hope that you enjoy viewing my work.
